In february i had the honor to take the portrait of the 94-year old german artist Gerda Sorger. It was part of a three generation project i took part in. The 94-year old painter, the author Gudrun Vogel and me, worked on the biography „Gerda Sorger – Portrait einer Künstlerin“. I wanted to take not only the portrait of her, but also the portrait of her appartment and studio, where she lives and works. I felt like walking through a museum filled with a thousend stories.
Gerda and me clicked instantly – after taking her portrait, she honored me, by giving me one artwork of hers.
